Where: The Break and Enter Agency's completely legit business locale. AKA Break and Prussia's apartment.
Format: Action
What: Gau wants to get hired. Break wants to hire him. But he thought an interview was in order first for some strange reason. And here we are.

[This is... not what Gau had expected, at all. It's certainly not as nice as the Kairoushuu buildings where he worked, not as nice as the fancy lab he worked at learning forensics things or the homey rooms where the ninja ate together and talked over various missions.

It's not what he envisions a detective agency to be like either, not the places that gumshoes in the movies work out of, semi-professional but somewhat smoky.

Maybe it's nicer on the inside?

He stands for a second outside the door, fidgeting with a small higanbana flower charm resting next to the katana against his belt, his hakama swaying gently and his sweater vest, dress shirt, and tie perfectly straight and unwrinkled. A messenger bag strap lies flat against his chest, the bag itself rather heavy-looking.

He stands quite still, for a moment.

And then he realizes that someone is right above him, and... squeaks.]

Do-do you know where I would find a-detective-place?

[Break is minding his own business up on the fire escape, sucking happily on a lollipop. Or, well, that's what it looks like he's doing. He's slouched with shoulders propped up against the railing, and one leg dangles off the edge. His boot looks rather precarious as it hangs there, since only the bottom-most buckle has been fastened.

In reality, he's been listening quite carefully for any visitors. He hears the boy approach, and is that the light clinking of a sword at his side? Break's still getting used to relying more on sound than sight. Still, the squeaking's a little new, but the voice is certainly the same as the one he spoke to a couple days prior.

Without looking down, Break waves his hand abstractly in the air, accentuating his speech with a flourish.]

Second floor! Break and Prussia.

Thank you.

[And for a second, Gau actually turns back to the door, his attention turning away from the man and back to actually going upstairs to meet someone... before he stops, turns his head, and peers suspiciously up.

Because that voice is rather familiar.

In fact, he's pretty sure...]

Break-san?

[Oh, so the boy has good hearing, too. Slowly Break lifts himself up and pops his head out over the railing, grinning downward.]
