But if she didn't see anything in the ruins, then maybe there would be something nice here she could find, to give to Rapunzel and Merlin. And Priscilla too, come to think of it.

The sudden question startled the skittish girl - who at least had cleaned herself up before going outside. ]

A pastry of some sort.

[what freya finds are large, oval-shaped pastries; some are covered with a white topping, and others are glazed. with both, it's easy to tell the pastry is shaped almost like a swirl. yep, those are honey buns.]

[shirley watches him a moment.]

What a shame.

[she stands a little straighter and gives a considering look to the rest of the fruit. unsatisfied, she moves onto another vendor without so much as a look back to this one or lupin. of course, she expects one of them will follow. (shirley has a terrible habit of that.)

but it's back to curious looks because she hasn't a clue what any of this is. the food here can be so strange.]
