[The knock startles her. Still so jumpy (and it doesn't help that she doesn't get much sleep or that the Colonel is out putting in a few hours of work so they don't starve), she doesn't move for a moment after the sound.]

Sakura?

[She stands, drags her fingers along the table top until she can find the wall. She knows this space like the back of her hand, follows the detailed map in her head, but it still makes her uneasy to navigate without touching something.

She reaches the door after a moment and, hand on the doorknob, she hesitates. She hates this fear. But she consoles herself that it is also practicality. Without the Colonel here, there is very little she can do to defend herself like this.

This thought does very little to make her feel better.]
