Steph is going to arrive right on time. She is still wearing her batgirl costume. She is wearing it as a precaution in case they run into any trouble. But soon she won't have this luxury if she doesn't figure out how to back-up her usual gadgets from her utility belt. She'd have to figure that out soon and use things sparingly.

She made it to the door and saw someone was there already. She hoped that it was Light. She approached him. "Light?" she asked. She of course, mentally sized him up. He seemed pretty harmless. He looked like a pretty sharp kid.

[ooc; lol Steph has my mentality where everyone to her is a kid FFFF. Pretty sure she's older then Light anyway.]

Light couldn't say he hadn't expected this, having done the requisite research on the network the night before. It made sense that she shouldn't have to keep her superhero identity a secret, too, being a member of the Patrol and everything. He noted the utility belt, her build. Best to avoid a physical confrontation in the future.

He gave her a pleasant smile --

"Steph? I can see why you're a member of the Patrol."

She could admit he had a nice smile. And yeah, she could probably take Light on very easily. She's got it like that. She gave a smile of her own as she started to lead the way.

"This is what I have to wear where I come from when I deal with the bad guys there," she explained. "Probably don't have to really wear the mask here...but there...can't have anyone know my real identity."

Easy enough to make conversation. Of course, he was only half paying attention to what she was saying, what he was asking. Most of Light's focus was on memorizing the path to Patrol headquarters. A building there, a particular alley there; it'd be better to wean himself off the map by noting landmarks.

"Why do you have to wear a costume anyway?" Light slipped her a sly smile; a nice touch. "Does it enhance your strength or something?"
