It was strange how she remembered traversing this path as though it were yesterday, when in truth several months had passed. It would take some time before Clare could come to terms with the missing chunk of her life - she preferred to have control of her body and faculties at all times, so the idea that she hadn't...

Her yoki was firmly suppressed almost as soon as she took a step out of Dismas. Teresa could probably still sense her, or Dietrich, but they mightn't recognize her. It was Riful she was wary of - since her last encounter with the girl-shaped monster Clare had accepted there was no way to truly be safe from her, but she took precautions anyway. An Abyssal encounter would only make her late.

Arriving at the bar and opening the door, Clare was struck by a rare joy: to be here, and see the faces of two of her closest sisters, seemed fortuitous, though she did not smile as she entered. "Deneve," she said instead, warmth in that single word. "Ah, but where is..."

There were a precious few things that could be counted on in this life. That Helen wouldn't be far from Deneve's side was one of them, especially if alcohol was within reach.

Though to be fair, lots of things were within Helen's reach.

So she might not have been in sight when Clare came through the door, but she was there, a fact that's confirmed by the empty crate that comes flying out of the break room, heading in Clare's direction as those words slip from her lips. It's doubtful that Miss former Forty-Seven will have a problem with it. Helen finally steps into view, trademark smirk and all.

"Hey Clare. Good to see you."

Fondness in both words and action.

Deneve, quite possibly the least outwardly affectionate of the assembled warriors, only stood and nodded when Clare entered the bar. She didn't smile and there was nothing especially kind in the way she pronounced the name of her recently returned sister, but the truth under the surface was that Clare was one of a very small group of people Deneve truly held close to her heart and she was more than glad to have her back in their midst.

She, of course, remained unfazed as the crate sailed across the room toward Clare, having already known that Helen would feel the need to open this meeting with her usual flare for the ridiculous.

Clare had time to blink once as the crate came towards her, never able to finish her sentence. Faster than the human eye could see, she drew her sword and used the Windcutter technique to shred the crate, splinters flying through the air around her and smacking into the door of the Foxhole just as it swung closed behind her.

Her expression remained blank as she resheathed her sword, though perhaps there was an air of slight bemusement in the angle of her head and the two further steps she took. "I don't have anything to throw at either of you," she noted, mildly apologetic.
