There's no one else around, but even if there was, he'd be impossible to miss. He's tall and distinctive-looking with that long hair of his. Not to mention the sword; she'd have to be completely remiss as a shinobi not to notice that. If she weren't already cautious and on her toes today, that sight would have done it. Then again, just because someone isn't visibly armed doesn't mean they're not dangerous, she tells herself. Knowing the location of at least one weapon is an advantage.

Her steps don't slow, and she gives no pause, and she dares to approach as close as she needs to to get a good look at him. (Well, not him so much as his injuries.) If she were one to balk in the face of danger she'd have quit her profession long ago.

In hindsight... maybe she should have been more careful about who she gave it out to.

Sephiroth's retreat isn't unexpected. He's a cautious man, she's discerned that much already, and anyone unaccustomed to ninjutsu--which was nearly everyone here--would be right to be a bit startled. It's not every day that a girl's hand starts glowing, after all. She's had to explain this several times before. No big deal.

So why is she beginning to feel on edge?

"It's chakra," she says, nothing of that revealed, and turns her bright hand palm up for his inspection. No tricks. "Just natural energy. Everyone has it, though sometimes it's called something else. I've been trained to channel mine and heal with it ( ... )
