Another foreigner. Like him. There weren't many, as far as he could tell just from glancing over the network ( which was strange, really, he didn't think he'd ever seen anything quite like it before ) or by scouring through the different faces, identifying which ones stood out from the crowd.
They were presumably outnumbered, and they were presumably there, in this city, in Anatole, for some unknown and unspecified reason. It didn't exactly take a genius to figure out that much, and it also didn't take a genius to know that piece of information wasn't a lot to go on at ( ... )

"Really?" He questioned before turning back to the carnival and squinting his eyes. It all turned into a mass of brightly coloured blurs, and he tilted his head every which way to see if he could find it looking anymore charming. Unsquinting his eyes, the young Maou glanced over towards the other male as he sheepishly muttered, "Aaah I guess I'm not squinting hard enough."

"No?" He smiled again, glancing once at Yuuri and then back at the carnival, studying the foggy lights of the Ferris wheel. "Maybe it's just me, then."
In all honesty, Kakashi didn't really think the carnival looked nice at all, no matter how hard one wanted to squint. It was oddly gloomy, despite the bright colors, and at night, it thrummed with an ominous sort of feeling. He wasn't surprised to see that most people tended to walk quickly past it without glancing once in its direction.
