Standing on the broken off pillar, he glanced around at the wispy areas of mist that traveled around lazily. It hadn't bothered him too much aside from a few nightmares, but that wasn't all that uncommon for him either. There were too many scars to keep the nightmares at bay, and being here avoiding his friends for the sake of their happiness seemed to make them worse.

It was for the best, he thought. If he could find a way to get home or even open the way for them to go home, perhaps he could right a few wrongs? Yes, they would say it wasn't his fault, but it was. He had to be proactive now to make up for weakness back then. It seemed only fair in his mind ( ... )

Raising an eyebrow at the prompt introduction from the kid looking disgruntled, Cloud shrugged his shoulders. The name didn't mean anything to him, and he wasn't about to introduce himself when it wasn't yet needed. He had more important events ahead of him, but it wasn't looking like he was going to shake this one off of his tail just yet either.

He paused in his hopping when Naruto proceeded to follow after him, setting a hand on his hip as he regarded the other blond. He glanced towards the thicker areas of mist in the distance as if considering what it would do to him. Aside from nightmares - not uncommon - and confusion - also not uncommon - he had been relatively untouched by this so called mist. What was this kid's problem?

"Do you know the extent of what the mist does," he asked simply. Really, he wanted to go there to be able to know what it was all about even if it seemed mildly suisidal based on Naruto's adamance. An answer of previous experiences might help. "I didn't ask you to follow me, and I don't need anyone's help ( ... )
