Public market...public market...Miranda knew that she had forgotten something. Lenalee had asked her to check out the ruins later today too, so she didn't want to waste time in trying to remember! Ughhh, why was everything going so bad for her anyway? She had just been fired from her 115th job today and all she wanted to do was drown herself. Or run out into the Mist. No wait, scratch that. Drowning seemed less painful.

"What was it exactly...?"

And now she's shoving her face into her hands, not paying any attention to where she was going.

"Whyyyy meeeee-" And in the middle of her wail, she felt herself trip.

"Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!"

Stepping away from the fruit stand, Yuuri was distracted from his inner-musing by the sudden wailing behind him. Maybe it wasn't him who'd the others were looking at?

His eyes widened at the sight of someone tripping over. "Look out!" Yuuri called out in alarm. Reacting automatically, the young Maou ran over to try and catch her in time.

Oh this was wonderful. Not only was Miranda a forgetful idiot, but she just had to trip. Again.

Before her face could smash against the floor though, she felt a strong hand grab her by the elbow.

"Eeehhhhh?!" Was someone going to yell at her again? Miranda flinched automatically. "I'm sorry!"

His hand managed to grab at her elbow, and Yuuri instantly began pulling in the opposite direction. "Eeeee!" Yuuri sounded between clenched teeth as he pulled hard enough on her elbow to stop her descent. He wasn't really that strong in his upper body, but he managed to successfully stop the fall.

"Aaa there's no need to apologise," The young Maou cheerfully said before he peered over at the woman and asked, "You're not hurt, are you?"
