[There is a barricade of wrappers, first and foremost. Stacks of papers. Books. The mechanical spider occasionally appears to clean, but it clearly hasn't returned recently - and that has little to do with the shut window (notice the shattered glass along the windowsill). L is hunched over the olden style laptop, klaking away and occasionally pausing to replay the footage of a corpse.
Beside the laptop is a bag of caramels, heavy enough to crush the two empty bags beneath and- yea, he's busy. This is his work environment. And out of the corner of his eye: movement. L just glances without turning his head, expecting to find a metallic insect gathering the trash and scurrying under tables.]
[L blinks thrice and, absently, a finger taps the touchpad, minimizing a window absently. He's somewhat annoyed and vaguely curious, which has become a common combination recently.]
I wasn't expecting guests.
[A faint tickle across his knuckles and L sucks on one briefly, distracting the sensations rather than the other way around.]
