[The feed turns on to show Tony. He's sitting in a chair at a workbench which is covered with all manner of things. Some tools. Some parts. Some half-finished projects that have yet to see fruition. With his active mind, no doubt he's got ten different things going on at once to fit every one of his whims. For now, he sets a hand on top of a ( Read more... )

There's something to be said for fuzzy socks. [Especially after a day in heels.] As long as they're not neon orange or anything.

They're just space heaters, right Tony?

That's what I'm asking you.

[Because with him, they could serve a dual purpose of...anything, really.]

As long as they don't turn into droids that can set fire to intruders or anything. As useful as that may be, some people might be alarmed by it.

That's not a bad idea. I'm sure I can make modifications before people pick them up.

[She looks surprised, impressed]

You made those yourself?

That's really impressive...

Ah-- I'm sure other people need one more than I do, though. [She eyes the other parts and things in the background of his video with interest]

Are you working on other things...?

It's not really that impressive. I could assemble a heater in my sleep.

If you want to buy one, then buy one. I can make more, so long as I have the parts.

I'm always working on other things. Sometimes I'm not even sure what I'm working on until it's done.

[ Have one very confused looking Kahlan. ] How can a box such as that create warmth? Is there a fire inside of it?

A fire inside?

[How quaint.]

No, it's just science. You plug this into the outlet you have in your home, and the box warms your home. That's the brilliance of technology.

[ Yep. She still looks confused. ] How does it heat anything without a flame?

Because the coils inside collect energy and emit heat. It's not complicated, really. Well, maybe for you.

The important thing is that it keeps you warm, right?
