[ Someone's Forge turns on. Though, it would appear that it is not quite a someone who is working it. Rather, it is a goshawk that seems to have let its way into someone's living area via an open window. That someone remains absent from the feed for some time, until finally he reveals himself, carrying what appears to be a glass of water, and ( Read more... )

You may refer to her as such, yes.

[ his voice is even and almost aloof sounding. ]

Am I right in assuming that this is the work of the Door?

I would not say that it is particularly fortunate. She was never what one would call 'useful'.

[ Though, he is not going to just send her away. ]

O - oh! What a pretty bird.

A pity she is good for little else.

Pets don't have to be good at anything. They're just nice to have.

Then, what is their use?

[ As he wonders just what he'll do with the bird. ]

You know her, Your Grace?

[So many Your Graces.]

While my elder brother remains here, 'my lord' will suffice.

[ With Robert around, claiming the title does not sit particularly well with him.

He studies the girl for a moment, frowning. Her looks mark her for a Tully, and though he cannot be entirely sure. ]

As a lad, she once belonged to me.

[ As unbelievable as it sounds, he almost feels like adding. Was there anything that was not possible in this place? ]

As it please you, my lord.

We have not yet spoken, it seems. I am Lady Sansa Stark.

[sister and daughter to traitors is what almost comes, but she means it less now than she would have when it was rote repetition.]

How good that you are reunited, then. That is the gift of this place, I think.

I thought as much, my lady. You have your mother's look.

[ She still looked so young, hardly older than his own daughter. It is because of that perhaps, combined with the fact that he has no wish to attempt to deal with a crying girl that he does not correct her (though perhaps it had not even happened for her).

However, the law was the law, and so she was a Lannister. And a Lannister should not be entitled to Winterfell. ]

So it would seem. There are many here that should be dead. Though some might call it a curse.

[ And seeing some of them again made it dangerously easy to forget the past three years.

Particularly when he was missing two of his most important advisors. ]

Proudwing. That's a beautiful name.

[ As a lad, he had rather liked the name. Now... it had all seemed rather foolish.

Still, the man doesn't appear to be openly mocking him... ]

A young lordling once thought so as well.

This seems to be a popular place for birds. Tonks has her owl and Freya the ducks. And I'm pretty sure Priscilla has one as well. Perhaps you could form some sort of group.

You could go bird watching together.

Bird watching.

[ Forgive him if he almost sounds... questioning of such a notion. ]

[Ax cannot help but be interested at seeing the hawk.]

Someone from your home, oh-muh?

Yes. She is something from long ago.

[ The boy who had once owned this hawk was gone. ]

Proudwing. Ing. It is a good name.

I did not know the door brought animals, too.

You are not the first to have said so, ser. [ He cannot help but note the boy has something of an odd manner of speech. ]

Apparently, it does. That Door brings many things, it would seem.

[ Some less welcoming than others. ]
