[ While the hour is very early at least one person is up and about. Morgana is sitting by her window, looking outside at the snow. For a second you might mistake her to be asleep; but a moment later she will rise up and open the window just a tad. Enough to collect a few snowflakes in her palm. ]

Lady Sansa - how are you doing? How is the change of weather treating you?

-- It might be a good idea. I should be quite gloomy without any flowers.

I am well, Lady Morgana. The snowfall is...

[Well, it's complicated. But.]

...it's a comfort. More than I ever expected it to be. May I ask which is your favorite? Of all the flowers?

[ There is a smile in her voice. ]

I am happy to hear that, it is quite beautiful is it not?

Daisies, I should say. They are so simple, and yet very lovely. Your own?

Mmm, the summers back where I'm from used to be really short, so we dried flowers for the rest of the year, and kept plants inside. But it was never quite the same. [He laughs quietly.] I tried to keep the gardens alive by magic, but I never could. I was never any good with that kind of magic.

Dried flowers? How so?

Well, dried flowers never quite lose their scent, but their colours fade and they break if you touch them. I always found them quite sad, really. The way memories are never quite the same as the real thing.

That does sound like a rather gloomy thought, yet it is quite poetic too.
