Yeah, you're probably right; a party after opening day is a bit too ambitious anyway. [A beat.]

Oh, you meant about starting, didn't you? We won't be running the normal full hours if that helps but if you need to take some time, go ahead. I can run bar for now. Is Ukitake not feeling well? [She doesn't really know Ukitake but is still a little concerned. Admittedly there is probably not much she can do for him, either. How do you heal a death god?]

[He shakes his head.] He's in the Clinic at the moment.

Oh no. I hope he gets better soon.

[A beat.] Well, if he's able to eat, he can have the first bowl of soup from the shop. [On the house, of course.]
