[A thrashing turns on the Forge. The camera jolts to the side and stays there, recording at an odd angle. The room is in one of the non-distinct newcomer apartment units, and on the bed is a young man, struggling to sit up.
At least it seems like a young man. It's difficult to tell too much of anything at this angle, aside from a bony shoulder-blade protruding from the back of a white shirt. He has pale skin and wildly unkempt black hair. He looks slightly damp.
He gets himself into a sitting position, and then, strangely, into a crouch. With his back to the camera, he pulls knees to chest, balancing quite well on the soles of his bare feet. He grips his ankle with one hand.
Slightly, very slightly, he shakes.
He remains this way for several minutes and the feed times out. It turns back on approximately two hours later.]

Hello. I apologise for my earlier accidental broadcast. I'm not the first to appear confused and disoriented by the event that brings us here. After giving it some thought, I have formulated a few possibilities and concerns about this predicament.
1) This is, as several have stated, life after death. I am sceptical of this. It matches no established religion's notion of the afterlife, except perhaps purgatory, although of course such things are not to be trusted. I would need to see statistics of those who recall their deaths or considered themselves to be near death before arrival in order to consider this feasible.
2) This is a hallucination induced by madness. Unfortunately the most likely option at 70%, but probability drops significantly when the sheer scope of the imagined world is taken into consideration. I am not arrogant enough to believe I have invented every single one of you, not to the vivid extent to which you clearly exist. But add the possibility of conjoined psychosis and we may be on to something.
3) This place is as it is established to be, a parallel universe on an alternate timeline. The scientific breakthrough would be immense. Multiverses have been theorised for many years. In this instance, Level II of Tegmark's classification would probably be the most applicable to the current situation. Even simple glances suggest this universe contains different physical constants than my own, to say nothing of the others who have arrived here like me. Although none of this explains how the travel between universes is possible, nor why I've been here before.
4) Is there room service? I am hungry.
