[She's slow to respond. Hotaru barely lifts her head to look over to the door. She sounds so unusually apathetic.]

[ He thinks nothing of it, that note of indifference in her voice, knowing that she has spent the better part of the day on bed rest. The poor girl is tired - ill - and she hasn't the slightest reason (much less energy enough) to greet him with her usual enthusiasm.
