I believe it is impossible for most people to live a life without regret. There is always something you would prefer to have done differently, to have said another way, or not at all.
But it does you no good to ponder these things. To live in regret is to lose sight of the future.
I ...guess I'm okay with any of it as long as I have my family. Both places. And I don't forget them. That's what I'd change. I'd make sure I never forgot about this place.

If you confine your thoughts to the possibility that there is no future here at all, you will limit your actions as a byproduct as well.
