What do you mean by that? There hardly seems to be any choice in the matter--these effects appear to be thrust upon us without warning.

I did not specify as to what I was speaking of.

The effects cannot be chosen, unless you do not arrive, for the first proof -- but then there appears to be little influence that one may exert on the arrival.

So -- a choice in another aspect, hm?
