Day 300: ~ Missing ~

[The feed clicks on to a view of Roxas sitting on Tsuna's bed in their shared hotel room with a grey kitten (that's missing an ear) sleeping on his lap. It doesn't seem that Roxas is too relaxed though considering his serious expression.]

Has anyone seen Tsuna around? I know stuff has gone missing and weird things have been happening, but I haven't

[Roxas doesn't bother replying back, but instead relocates to just outside the entrance of the building with the kitten in his arms. Even though he would be working together with Gokudera to find Tsuna, he's just a bit reluctant after hearing about the "Mafia" from Bianchi. The doubt shows easily on his face too despite the relatively neutral expression he's trying to maintain.]

[It doesn't take long for Gokudera to exit the building, and when he notices Roxas, he stops. The teen looks as though he may something, but bites it back, and returns his focus with new disdain.]

[Rin runs up and pauses when he sees both Roxas and a guy he hasn't met before. The Gokudera guy maybe? Seems like there's a bit of tension in the air, but Rin shrugs it off and walks up to Roxas.]

Hey.

[Action]

H-hey. [Roxas gives Gokudera a glance before shifting the kitten in his arms. He looks a little frightened by the appearance of the two boys, and its remaining ear flattens against his head as he digs his nails into Roxas jacket.]

Uhhh...Sorry about this. C'mon, let go, little guy. [As he tries to get the kitten to let go, Roxas looks between Rin and Gokudera.]

Tsuna's stuff wasn't in his room, by the way.

[The teen crosses his arms and leans against the wall of the building as he watches this new guy approach. Rin, Roxas had called him? Hn. He didn't look that impressive. Gokudera pulls out a cigarette and lights up as he waits for them to head out.

Where did the cat come from? If it was so skittish, it should be inside where it would be safe. But it wasn't his pet, so he just disregards it.]

What stuff? [Tenth would have taken Nuts with him, and his gloves. What else would be so important?]

[Rin reaches toward Roxas to take the kitten if the ball of fur and claws will allow the exchange.

He looks between Roxas and Gokudera before asking:]

He didn't leave anything behind at all? Did he normally take everything with him?

[Rin had only just begun collecting things in this place, so it seemed like a good question.]

[Action]

[Finally, he detaches the kitten from his chest before handing him off to Rin. The kitten doesn't seem to like that at all, and he begins squirming wildly a moment before going completely slack and mewling pitifully. Poor thing's been through a lot if it wasn't obvious.]

Just little things he's picked up and all of his regular stuff. It's completely gone, but he's never done something like that before.

[Gokudera rolls his eyes.]

Would you leave that thing here? It doesn't need to be out and about in a place like this. [Poor thing looked like it'd been through one hell of a time. Gokudera likes cats, and if it kept mewling like that, he wouldn't be able to stand it much longer]

Maybe he got sick of you...

[Rin struggles with the kitten as it squirms, fretfully trying to be gentle while not letting it get away. When it finally gives up, he cradles it in his arms and tries to comfort it.

He takes a moment to shoot Gokudera a glare before returning his attention to the cat.]

Why don't you shut it? I've got this under control.

[Action]

See, it's okay now. Rin's not going to hurt you. [Roxas reaches out a hand to rub the kitten's head, and it blinks at Rin shyly before quieting down. It doesn't do much else except to stare at Gokudera.]

I can't leave him there, 'cause I can't protect him if that crazy girl tries to get him again. [Yeah...he sorta forgot to mention that. And he's trying really hard not to snap back at Gokudera for that comment.]

I don't think it's like that.

Does she know where it is? [Gokudera asks, wondering about what he's talking about. He can tell that cat just wants to be with Roxas, so he's annoyed at Rin. The guy's lucky that Roxas interjected, or he'd probably get some dynamite thrown at him. The teen stands up away from the wall and approaches them easily. Like it or not, he's a cat person, and when he'd lived on the streets, the strays would usually help to keep him warm.]

[Rin is feeling increasing lost. At least the cat seems less upset.]

Wait, there's someone trying to hurt this cat? What kind of person would go after a kitten?!

[On the other hand, Rin has seen some pretty awful people here. He takes a more protective stance over the kitten.]

You'd better let me know who to look out for.

[Action]

I don't know if she does, but I wouldn't put it past her to look for him again. She's pretty crazy. When I found him, half of him was crushed by a boulder and she ripped off his ear.

[Just remembering it seems to make Roxas a little upset, but he doesn't let his mind drift to after she started playing with him.]

She's actually pretty young-looking. Maybe a little younger than us? She has short black hair though, dark skin, and weird marks on her forehead.

And you're going to bring him with us... [He shakes his head and then shrugs, dismissing it. Whatever.]

[The teen turns away from him, heading towards the ruins.]
