[it takes a long time, but she finally turns the forge on to leave a message. but then, she doesn't know what to say, besides "stop," and how helpful is that? she almost says his name, a name of his, and that isn't enough or terribly appropriate.

[For Lavi it takes him even longer to look at any replies and he freezes a little when he sees that Shirley replies. In a way he doesn't want to say anything to her right now, because she was one of the ones that Deak killed. What would that say about him in turn? Or would she figure out that Deak did it because she meant something to Lavi.

But while he's expecting harsh words or hurt, he doesn't expect to see her speechless and hiding. So he figures it's best to just keep quiet. To not vocally say anything.]
