I think I kinda like the idea of a glass coffin. We tend to forget about things when we bury them.

I guess that's one way of looking at it. A way that doesn't involve being on display. Maybe it's personal bias that makes me not like them. I've... you could say they're not uncommon where I'm from.

[If he's in the parlor, it's a miracle she got in mostly undetected; getting home was such a priority after everything calmed down that she hadn't bothered even trying to stay quiet. Even so, even as strained as she is, she smiles-- it's a mask, something she keeps up even though she's too tired to sleep and too riled to rest, but she's prone to those even at full power.]

Family... [She can't talk about that; she hasn't got any. But it does make sense.] I guess that's a part of it. I mean, it's not like the woman didn't deserve it, but... [But glass coffins are a personal hang-up. She takes a long swig from the bottle.]
