[Somehow, seeing someone covered in blood is slightly less creepy than that odd staring. Maybe because, at this point, there's so much fighting going on that so much gore everywhere is expected.]

[ Shakycam that'd make J J Abrams proud as River turns to face what, in a clear moment of video, appears to be a pair of goblins, and then leaps to attack them. The picture is of the ground, the girl, the sky, and then when she uses the Forge to brain one: darkness. ]

[ When it turns back on she seems unshaken, unharmed... in fact, it's hard to tell anything happened at all. ]

What makes the blue plates special?

[And once it's all over, she's back to asking about old sayings as though the fight with the goblins never happened. ...what.]

I...think they were some kind of menu item restaurants used to serve decades ago. Or something. [A pause.] Actually, I have no idea what made them special.
