[At first, it had just seemed a regular post of Xerxes being...well, Xerxes, but then...

Kaien is in clean clothes and there's no longer the traces of blood on him by now, but looks very visibly distraught in the video. Panicked, almost--emotion fraught with fear and hurt and loss and all things so un-Kaien dancing across his eyes.]

X-Xerxes? Are you...? [His voice starts off soft and then picks up volume--only to be abruptly cut off when he remembers.]

[That act. That fucking act--usually he's more than willing to let it be as Xerxes' eccentricity on most occasions, but right now he is just not in the mood to deal with it.

And he hates, hates that Xerxes does this to him, doesn't take him seriously when he's worried. He's been doing it since the first time they ever spoke and it just makes him want to punch something. (Maybe him, but that would only hurt him worse)]
