[Only not really since all that Lavi does is leaves a basket filled with freshly made dango (and not very well made but they were an attempt) hanging on Allen's doorknob. He would have left a note but he honestly didn't know what to say aside from sorry that he's been an ass. This dream of his, though, kinda threw that in the wind and so while it's still sort of an apology it's more of a comforting gesture?

He knows that Allen is working as hard as he can against Nea coming out, fighting for both sides though Lavi really doesn't understand why. Then again he doesn't know the entire story so all he can do is make assumptions and assumptions are the worst things to make. So he doesn't make them at all and just waits to hear the story like a proper Bookman, though he should be waiting as a friend. It'll just take time.]

[ Maybe oddly enough though, Lavi... As much as it really grates on him when people see his dreams? ...

... That was kind of a good dream. For him. It's really not saying much, but hey.

So he'll discover the basket on his door a little later and be more than a little surprised at it. Welcoming basket after moving in? No, dango would be a rather strange choice and it's a little too much of a coincidence...  But it's Allen. Far be it from him to look a gift horse in the mouth so to speak, so he'll be rather delighted for the rest of the day over these, thank you! If burningly curious and trying to sneakily ask around. A secret admirer? No, that's just silly...

Honestly there's not really a need to apologize so it never even occurs to him that might be the gesture intended. And if he knew? Or thought about opening up about, well... that? The entire story isn't even... well. Is there an entire story? Even he wanted to tell it and on some level he is better at talking about those things.. on others he's worse, but regardless ( ... )

[It is hopeful as much as it is worrying for the future. She falls silent trying to process it all. He can't see it because she has voice on but her hand touches the Forge.]

You're right. And even if we're not at home, we can't ignore this world.

...

But why would I tell you to ignore it? I don't understand.

[ You know, it's a good thing she can't see or hear the long pause he has. Not more than a moment of just stopping and probably remembering, wondering,  before replying.  And it's just very light in tone, very Allen and a bit of a disjunct to the dream itself, really. You know the one: the quiet laugh while waving something unpleasant past and looking ahead. Trying to, at least. ]

That's how I'd like to think of it.

Um. [ Now a pause, almost biting the inside of his mouth for a second. ] Although you didn't exactly. [ Soft laugh, a little nervous. ] It's just a dream, anyway. That's all.

It wouldn't be right to sit aside and ignore this world's troubles. We brought some of them with us. It's only fair we help put it right even if it isn't our fault we're here.

What do you mean, not exactly? Please, tell me.

Aa. [ No pause, just a note in his tone. ] With others from our world like-

[ ... A switch to private. ] -like Tyki. And it's hard for me to tell if there are akuma here as well. [ Hesitant, but continuing. ] Arthur's right about the people here, too.  It's something everyone has to work at.

[ ... 'Please' is a terrible word sometimes, and he is biting his tongue for a moment. ]

We were... in a hard place for a long time.

[ It is...truly often quite difficult to understand you, Allen. Not even your dreams are helpful in letting him understand.

And...he also hears his own words. The ones he spoke to you months ago. God, that was the argument that changed everything. ]

I sounded so angry. [ And so he had been. ]

How are you...finding a way?
