Yeah, I was hoping that things would improve with the natives, but it doesn't seem that we're going to be that lucky.

Not that I'm giving up, but-- it's just something we're going to have to work at, I guess.

I still hope we'll be able to gain their trust eventually. We want to go home as much as they want to get rid of us, I'm sure. Seems a shame for them to be so uncooperative when we have the same goal...
