Because I think everyone should have somewhere safe to stay, and the city is safer than the ruins. And there's no reason you should be out there alone if you have some friends here.

[Besides the danger of the ruins, the "alone" part really bothers him. He doesn't think anyone should have to be alone, ever.]

It's good that you're sleeping well, but for right now, it might be better to be cautious, is all I'm saying.
