It may seem difficult to believe, but people are drawn here from different times as well as different worlds. Time here, as well, does not correlate to Amestris.

I see. You don't remember. Alternate versions of people are apparently possible, here. There is a homunculus here that claimed to be your ally when she arrived. On top of that, she has different memories of her death than either Lieutenant Hawkeye or the Flame Alchemist. There was an alternate version of you here quite a while ago as well.
Whether or not you believe me is immaterial. Those that you do trust here will tell you the same.
[There's a bit of silence here, as he debates whether to ask Ed to keep quiet about him himself, or ask Hawkeye to do it for him. Scar decides on the latter, but he does have one point to make clear.]
Regardless of what you do or do not remember, however...be aware that I do not mean you any harm in this place. Again, you are free to question the others from Amestris on the matter. I've made each of them the same promise.
