At first, there's only blackness. And then a flash of lights - pink and purple, like the inside of a dance club, and there's writhing bodies, dancing to some unhearable music. Only for a moment.

After that, it's jut pink. Pink curtains, pink bedspread, pink bedroom. And you don't see any people, but you hear... voices. Jennifer's - that's recognizable enough. But also someone else. A girl?

"Oh my God, Needy. Put the donuts down or you're going to like, turn into a huge gross balloon animal and you'll never, ever get laid again."

"Okay okay, I'll stop. Here. Um. Take half."

"...I'm not hungry."

"You're never hungry."

Flash.

All alone in an empty room...

A bright red light, and a you're hot all over, but it's dark. Everything's dark except the moon, which hangs over you like a pearl. You can see its pale glow filter through the (dark, black, skeleton fingers, the silhouettes of) trees, and there are hands on your wrists, pulling you through the dark. In the back of your head, you hear singing, soft and broken.

Nothing left but the memories of when...
I had my best friend

There are tears stinging your eyes, and you feel something biting into your wrists.

And I don't know how we ended up here.
I don't know but it's never been so clear
We made a mistake
Dear.

There's a flash of silver in the blackness. You hear Jennifer screaming. (Weren't you Jennifer, before?)

And I see.
The broken glass in front of me.
I see...

...or is it Jennifer at all? There's so much screaming now, and everything is black.

...your shadow hanging over me.

Just for a split second, you see nothing but blood.

And your face.

And then nothing but blackness, and breath.

I can see...

[ooc: song lyrics are from Through the Trees, which means something if you know the movie. The cuttag is from the Hole song, "Jennifer's Body.]
