My name is Remus Lupin. On my world, I suffered from a condition known as lycanthropy. Also known as werewolfism. It involved my involuntary transformation on full moons, the most dangerous aspect of which was the loss of my human mind: memories, sanity and control.
In Anatole, this condition appears to have changed. It is no longer linked to the moon, no longer involuntary, and no longer insanity-inducing.
However, with the onset of the current crisis, I feared a relapse, which is why I did not try to refute accusations.
Last night I was voluntarily detained in a prison cell. My cooperation was officiated by Policing Division Commander Kuchiki and Vash-san. I spent the night under constant surveillance by Officer Standfast.
Unfortunately, the killings continued elsewhere in the city during the night.
Fortunately, I can officially announce that I am not the beast in question, and I no longer suffer from the condition known as Lycanthropy, as defined by its dangerous and involuntary symptoms.
I would like to offer my services, and what I may now call my "abilities"-

-in locating and combating the true culprit. I believe I can provide some advantage in this regard.
