I am. For as long as Anatole will have me, anyway.
[ Or as long as it takes her to figure out a way back to the Planet. ]
Care to fill me in as to developments in say, oh, the past four months? You don't have to, of course, but I would appreciate it hearing as much from a fellow Turk... or, at the very least, about any notable developments.
I arrived early on the morning of the twenty-seventh. At the time, many people were behaving strangely, so I decided to move to gather as much information as I could in the meantime, to observe as opposed to making my presence known while I tried to get a handle on the situation. During the attack that occurred the following day, I worked independently to evacuate as many civilians as I could.
[ Because she remembered the level of organization present amongst the 'Scorched' alone and trusted them to mobilize to protect the people in the event that it became necessary, which it did on the twenty-seventh. ]
I wanted to contact you, but you were among those behaving strangely as of the... twenty-third, if I recall the date my Forge gave me, so I wasn't sure it was the best idea at the time. After your broadcast yesterday...
[ Suffice to say it was clear that Elena had regained her faculties. ]
I can't say it has. [ And it is a bit unnerving to hear. ] Did this occur more than three months following AVALANCHE's... [ She wants to say 'attempt to abduct Professor Hojo from Shin-Ra Headquarters, but -- ] attack on Shin-Ra Headquarters?

[ And, of course, she isn't entirely willing to leave it at that because -- ]
We're flatmates! It would be rude of me not to let you know if I'm going to be out late or going out earlier than even you get up when I plan on using the door.
[ When she plans on using the door being the primary condition. The window would suffice, just not in the instances she's laid out and not when her trust in her balance is dependent upon the size of her migraine, but she isn't going to tell him. ]
Anyway, I need to get moving. Bye!
[ And she cuts the transmission in anticipation of his adding common courtesy to the list of things she's not allowed to do insofar as it concerns him. ]

Wait, you're back?
[Or, more to the point, has been back. At least since Elena's last transmission.]

I'm so treating you to lunch after this this...whatever-it-is passes. Gotta make up for lost time sooner rather than later, huh?

I... don't guess you're going to let me pay for my half, are you?

I have certain matters to attend to, so I won't be able to accompany you.
...However, if you do find something of interest, I'd prefer to hear about it.
