[The little Xingese girl appears on screen, using her preferred method of communication, but something's amiss. She's not crying. In fact, she does have a bit of a smile on her face, but it's not cheerful, not as warm as it usually was. She appears much more energized than she has since the string of attacks

Is that what that building is?
[He leans closer to the forge, as if trying to peer up at it in curiousity]
Do you know if it has a full kitchen, Mei-chan? Some people have been asking about cooking lessons as well - perhaps we could hold those there?
[He's not sure who 'they' are, but he assumes she would know what she's talking about - she's been here much longer than he. He's run a buisness before, so a cafeteria wouldn't be so hard, yet he has no idea what the conditions are, or what exactly Mei-chan has in mind, and he'd hate to disrupt her ideas]

I never really looked, but I'm sure they do. It's in the apartment building, and made for everyone, so I imagine that they did a good job on the kitchens.

Uh, yeah. A few of the people are Anatole asked me if they could maybe learn how to cook. I guess it's a skill that's lacking around here.

Oh, but I only cleaned up tables and things. So I'm not too good at cooking.

Yes, but even that will help, Namine-san. Even the tables need to be taken care of.

Oh, okay. [A little smile. So she does have a little use, then.] So you'll run it, Mei?
Reply
Oh! [There's a bit of a pause and the sound of fidgeting.] I've never run anything before, so I'm not sure how to do it, but maybe Fai-san will.

I don't know what sort of things that place would need, besides food and helpers, though. Are you interested in helping?
Reply
Maybe I can stop by and see if there's anything I can do to pitch in.

I can offer you payment, if that is what you want. It wouldn't be much, though.

[A happy little Mei.]
If we can get everything going again, it would really be helpful.
May I ask your name?

[She frowns a little.]
Responsibilities come at a young age in my country. This isn't hard compared to what I must be doing.
