It seems, however, that Itachi is unaware that he has bumped his Forge on his way into the Dojo, causing it to turn on and begin recording...
A quiet series of metallic clinks can be heard as Sakura places down the weapons she's been organizing. It's only polite to give him her full attention.] You were? What for?
You have made a full recovery... [He steps further into the Dojo's main hall, footsteps audible, but soft... muffled, perhaps, by the fabric of a pocket, or by skill... it's hard to tell.]
...I wanted to discuss with you the matter of our training arrangement.
Oh. [Her voice is very carefully neutral.] What about it?
I feel we should resume.
[He sounds serious about this, but as usual it's impossible to tell what might exactly be the reasoning behind his decision.
It's barely audible, but the tense breath Sakura'd been holding in lets out in relief. She wasn't certain what to expect, and braced for the worst.] I was hoping you'd say that.
[A note of mild curiosity enters Itachi's voice.] Were you?
Yeah, I was. [Because if he'd said he wanted to end them permanently, she'd be stuck either with accepting the unacceptable or needing to beg, neither of which were at all attractive to her.
And then-] Perhaps you were also expecting that I would be intensifying the sessions?
... I wasn't, but if that's what you want, that's fine.
[More footsteps.
