The blanket was sadly ineffective at keeping out the cold. Margaery wrapped it more tightly around her shoulders, not caring that she looked a ridiculous sight. She was escaping a kidnapping; what did she matter how she looked? She looked ruefully down at her soiled wedding dress, glad at least she didn't have the marry her monster of a groom. Leaning against the wall of the building was dirtying the blanket, but it wasn't hers, anyway.
Still, the peculiarities of this kidnapping led her to believe that it possibly wasn't one at all. Though she recognised nothing in this strange city, she had been able to walk around at leisure, with no bars in her way. She entertained the thought that they were simply hilariously incompetent kidnappers, but they would not have been able to drag her so far. It must have been at least halfway across the world; King's Landing had been in the early days of autumn while snow was on the ground here, as in the North. She had woken up in an unfamiliar room, and the others she had avoided on her exit from the building had seemed as lost as she.
Her eyes followed a moving chariot as it ambled across the cobblestones. She didn't think the North looked like this. The strange sights and sounds simply made her miss her family all the more. That morning, she had been with her ladies and her grandmother preparing for her wedding. While she did not miss the wedding (and the terrible plan for the feast), at least her entire family had been there, save for her eldest brother. She was not used to being alone, and here, in this foreign place surrounded by strangers, she felt utterly alone.
Perhaps she could simply ask one of the passerby what this place was. If her captors were so simple as to leave her unbound, then they would not mind her asking questions. In a strange place or not, she was still the bride of the king of the Seven Kingdoms, only hours away from becoming the queen (and a few more hours past that would see him dead).
She'd have to do something about the blanket first, though.
