[As she turns, the silk folds of her train whisper and sway, washed in shadow and grays against the white of the gown - shifting faces in painted silk as she passes through the edge of the crowd. Fitted at the bodice and shot through with bursts of scarlet there - twirling, curling leaves - flame at the shoulders, moltenmetal threads kissing skin and curl.

Her hair a spill of flame as well - held in check by clusters of crimson leaves - a walking Heart Tree.

She's stopped to look out and up and over the rail, her features echoing that of the shadowsilk etched at her back. Just now the light suggests a frown in those skirts. Who's to say if it's mirrored - her back is turned.

Oh, look. A sparrow is chilling on the rail a few feet away, unnoticed. Tilting its derpy little head.]

Does anything come of such actions ...in your world?

In Westeros they are nothing more than tales. And some of those tales are lies.

[She steps into the light a little, smoothing down her skirts.]

Thank you kindly, ser. I fear we have not met. I am Lady Sansa Stark.

[ robb places a hand on his sister's back, steadying her, before speaking any greeting. ]

You should take care. The Kingslayer is here, Sansa.

Robb.

[She doesn't move at first, but her shoulders slowly slump forward just a bit as she breathes out.]

We've already... I fled his company for fear of what I might say, but I came back as soon as he'd gone. I should have held my ground, shouldn't I?

[Sup Robb, it's a sparrow. Checking you out. Hey, it's eyeing your shoulder.]

No. The Kingslayer is a dangerous man. I'd rather have you alive after retreating than anything else.

[ come perch on his shoulder, sparrow. he'll take care of you. ]

[This bird has no damn sense of direction, Robb. It's almost a miss, but derpsparrow makes it.]

He is quite gifted at killing. It's what he said. If he'd wanted me dead, he'd have gutted me before I started to speak.

He must be without a soul to speak such things. To gloat over crippling a boy.

[Why do these fucking Lannisters ruin everything.]

The Imp. [She stops, worries at her lip and restarts.] Tyrion was kind to Bran, I'm told. I do not trust him wholly, but he is the best of them.

He will not touch you, or Bran. Father, Jon and I shall make certain of it.

[ man if robb had a good clean shot at jaime's neck... ]

It is best to be wary of him. He is still of Lannister stock, and they are loyal, for all their faults.

[She nods, swallows and steps toward Robb, her eyes lighting on the bird. At least it made the landing and didn't end up in his hair as it had hers. She's reflexively tucking a strand back into place - adjusting the leaf barrette, but she's both cheered and bolstered by her brother's presence. She speaks softly.]

He was kind to me as well, when he had no cause to be.

[She's still vague about a lot of things, and this is one of them.]

But you are right. [And there's a long pause before she changes the subject to less awful things. Tries to shake off the still fresh image of her brother and mother rotting in a riverbed.] Have you danced yet?

[ robb lets the topic go. he doesn't wish to speak any further of the lannisters than he has to, and the sneaking suspicion that there are things sansa is not telling him...it's not something robb enjoys considering. ]

No, I have not. Surely you have?

No, I haven't.

[A slightly embarrassed smile creeps up.]

But I would love to. The music is sometimes very strange, and the dancing I saw was nothing like I've ever seen before. There's a chaos to it.

Would you dance with me? If we're both out of time and step, perhaps no one will take notice.

It's very strange indeed. I would hear our lord father's comments upon it. I imagine they'd be entertaining.

[ this kids and their newfangled dancing. ]

Of course, Sansa. Let us go in and dance, if you'd like.
