Screw it, I am upgrading!

Well, as people my know, my computer has been crapped out for a few weeks now. I have given it to a friend to fix the bluescreen and possible recapture data if he can save the drive. Since my roommate's compy is old and close to dying, I will give it to her when I get it back and I will get a new one. For her, my old compy will be an awesome

.. why does anyone need more than 2-3GB RAM for a home computer.... :/

oh well, I haven't heard/read too much against it, so hopefully it'll be stable :3

Why, cause one can. :P I mean, I had my other up to 3 gig of RAM and still noticed some lags on Second life when I used to hop on there. I dunno, perhaps it was my graphics card. In any case, I am getting an external drive so I can have a backup this time. :)

probably a good idea... just make sure the external drive is stable. I bought a 500GB portable drive.... and it gets I/O errors and crashes randomly... not a good thing to use for backups
