Does anybody else think that the people over discworld are taking this May 25th thing a little too seriously? Of course I haven't read Night Watch yet (Gungrave, Trigun and Ghost in the Shell mangas I got on Free Comic Book Day

From what I gather in discworld (while doing my best to avoid spoilers), a revolution happens on May 25th in the book Night Watch.

If the posts there are any indication it is a truely inspirational and life-changing thing to read (aka: I'll probably be dissapointed after reading it as it didn't live up to expectations).

IMO, really good fiction should consume you, at least for a while. And Night Watch is really good fiction.

Having said that, I did not wear lilac today. (But I might have if I'd remembered).

It's a brilliant, moving book, but it's not worth going as gaga over it as internet fandoms -always- seem to do.
