We stopped at our insurance agent's office to take care of some things for the company (and find out what to do about our dear, departed chimney), and as we got out of the car to head in, the rain outside started to bounce.

Let me go on the record here and say that I do not like bouncing rain. Rain should not be crunchy, gahdammit!
