Win98 is so not doing it for the home system nowadays, and the monitor is old and degraded to the point of seriously hampering Web design and development, which is its primary use at this point. Need to upgrade to a WinXP system, as I do not yet trust Vista. My hope is that barebones desktop systems running XP are coming down in price ( Read more... )

I have a PC that's collecting dust right now... you'll need to find your own copy of Winblows, but getting an upgrade version shouldn't be more than $200 or so...

How big is the disk? And does it have USB?

At least 10GB (I think).

And yes, it has USB.

IIRC, it's ~1GHz CPU - probably pretty minimal RAM though (256 or 512 max)
