My weather widget is telling tales of cruelty in its five-day forecast. (All temps C, as is my custom.)

• Tuesday: Mostly Cloudy. High -2, Low -11
• Wednesday: Partly Cloudy. High -1, Low -9

You have no idea how hard I laughed at that statement. No idea at all.

A quick check at The Weather Network would tell you I'd *kill* for that weather (that's normal for early spring, late March-ish). -40 (C or F doesn't matter, they're the same in the conversion) with the windchill is the standard now. And not uncommon here for this time of year either.

Yes, but people with normal functioning brains do not live in that sort of condition voluntarily; therefore we are not accustomed to such. Come get it.
