Shucks, I was kind of wanting to see if I could get kdsorceress and her sibs to call me "Daddy" in front of the animal shelter workers, and watch them try real hard not to crack up.

Any ideas what people might pay for an office in Columbia? Around 200 sq. ft. (note: non-metric measurement in my LJ); need phone line, net connection, desk, chair, little else. Maybe extra space and chair to greet clients. Can provide own coffee, paper shredder; will answer own phone.
Speaking of phones, there are signs of life in my office. I learned yesterday that two of the directors had a bet on what TV show my ringtone was from. One guessed Hill Street Blues(!) How little they know of their 70's shows. Lord, but I'm old. I was talking to somebody about Google's recent decision to purchase YouTube, and actually said the line, "That deal has more problems than Carter has little liver pills." I mean, Holy Magoo, ya geezer. Welcome to the 21st Century.
