More shaken than he might admit by the knowledge that Sagramore died (though he does find it an upside that he discovered this only after said knight's return), Dinadan has returned to Percy's house and is sitting out in front. He's playing, of course, and even someone who is not musically minded will probably be able to hear the way he keeps

And Merlin strolls about - called forth by the music he knows well. Don't fret, Dinadan - he's not going to meddle. Not unless you ask him.

The old geezer is actually *gasp* undergoing a major period of self questioning.

He stops as he is in sight, and looks at the lute player with a patient grin.

He looks up. "So. What's today's prophecy?"

A grin. It was a pleasure to see him, last time. It is again.

"None so far, but as Kay puts it, I can make up some bullshit to amuse the both of us, if you like."

"Wouldn't want to inconvenience you."

"Hey!" Percy comes through the open doorway, wiping his hands on a slightly blood half-apron tied around his waist, and sits down beside him. He has been making rabbit sausage in the kitchen.

He nods a greeting, then pauses in playing. "I have to say, I like this look on you."

"Huh? Oh!" He laughs. "Well, it's comin' right. Can't have nothin' but veggies all the time."

"I certainly agree. What are you making?"

There's a visitor. Laurel is taking a walk to clear her mind, and the music catches her ear. She's holding a small piece of porcelain, that might have a bit of dried blood on it.

He looks up. "--Laurel, isn't it?"

[hardlyagravated]

"Sir Dinadan." She manages a small smile. "I'm surprised you recall."

"Why shouldn't I?"
