that hits the nail right on the head. you cant live for anyone but yourself and when your doing that you have to make sure that you keep yourself in check. i dunno if that makes sense but sometimes when it feels like your doing it for yourself...your really not...like you said trying to impress yourself. impressing yourself exists because of a desire to impress other people...totallly subconsciously. and your right...the flowers and birds and nature in general is just so pure and perfect. makes for amazing thinking. i think you would like this quote..."the walls we build around us to keep out pain also tend to keep out joy" jim rohn.
