That is *super cool*. I had no idea that was a form of synethesia--I have this, too, although it was way stronger when I was a child, and I never had the personality traits quite that distinct. Gender, though, absolutely.

My oldest son informs me that certain numbers are fat or thin (and it has nothing to do with their shape), male or female (ditto), and what colours they all are. He doesn't have nearly the same synesthetic associations with letters, though.
Ooh, that's very interesting! I had never heard of that kind of synesthesia. I have a thing where certain letters are even and others are odd, like numbers are. Also, certain days of the week are even and others are odd. I'm more inclined to believe I've semi-consciously rationalized it, though, than it being synesthetic, since I have no other connections that I've noticed.
