You're right! Funny how it inspires awe and worship, and not crushing despair. But maybe that depends on one's worldview.

When I was an atheist I was terrified to gaze into the clear night sky. In fact, I even had a nightmare once where I couldn't look away from it. It took years to come to terms with its depth and vastness, once I became a Christian. Now it's increasingly becoming one of my favorite things to do.

That is so cool.

I was raised Christian, and it was my dad who taught me to look up at the stars. He took me to see Halley's Comet when I was small.

What brought you to Christ? Or do you have a blog post on it?
