Anybody else find the artistry of crop circles gorgeous?  I'm looking at some examples on telegraph.co.uk, and they're amazing.  All the swoops and circles and rings and patterns... there's one they've got that's actually a phoenix.  I love it.  Giant field art

That's just, well, wrong. :P I mean donating money for refreshments is one thing. But to claim to not be something that they (it) in fact are?... I know you don't want to leave, but if that's how they're going to be - then theologically, ethically, & morally speaking, leaving may be the better thing to do.

Like, I think I told you once. I was a part of a great singles bible study for a short amount of time. We met in an apartment once a week. Yeah, one of the guys was in seminary, but none of us were claiming this for a church. It was more of an outlet, an addition, to our church life.

If your group is looking to "hire" someone then it's not just an open bible study anymore. It is in fact becoming an "organization".

I'm happy donating money for refreshments, or even to lease the building they meet in. I'm happy to bring food or help lead a study. But I am so not paying for someone's salary.

They know they're an organization, but what if I'm not interested in an organization?
