Early this morning, as early as I usually get to work, I had an interview with the head of the library science department at the local state university.  Now I have all the paperwork and information I need to go about applying for the masters program.  Which will include taking the GRE, which I'd never done, for some reason ( Read more... )

What kind of masters are you going for? I'm sure you've mentioned it in your posts, but alas, I am too lazy to look.

Yay Torchwood! :-D

I'm glad you liked so far, since people either seem to like it or hate it. I view it as being very close to fanfic, just for the slightly cracktastic elements.

And the guy with the alien pheremone is called Owen, and that particular action sparked a lot of unease in the fandom because it's rather akin to date rape. It was meant as a joke, as far as I know though!

Erm... I'll shut up now.

Best of luck with the Masters decision, it's never easy to know exactly what things are going to be like before you make a decision.

Well, it's not like we take Doctor Who very seriously in my house, and Amy's got a soft spot for cheesy and/or melodramatic scifi, so I think we'll be fine.

The human race has an amazing ability to take EVERYTHING seriously.

A) How would I go about getting my grubby paws on the Sarah Jane Adventures?

B) Lost Skeleton is indeed a hoot and is purposely worthy of the best Mistying you can give it. (I particularly like walking the skeleton through the woods.)

C) Twenty-four hours is twenty-four hours. How they think they can "add time" into the day by making us lose an hour of sleep is beyond me. Pick a time and stick with it!

Hey! Congrats on the lib science stuff! It is a bit of work, but really, it's a ton of fun, too. At least, I've been loving it, and I suspect you will, too. Let me know if you ever want to chat about anything library-like! :) Good luck!
