Julian's been searching the place for her and in truth, it doesn't take too long to find her. She tends to gravitate towards places where she can learn things. He wanders in, tying his hair back as he does, and just says,

'You talked to Mary Anne.'

She glances up, raising an eyebrow.

"Is this a problem?"

He shrugs, and slumps casually into an armchair, wincing as he lands on a book. It's pulled out from underneath him and he osses it to the floor.

'No. I just wish you hadn't, really. But it doesn't matter.'

"She invited me to Vietnam, and I like her." Her tone is softer then before, but her eyes are wary as she watches him.
