didn't do much, read Northern Lights again. Saw some clips from the movie and went, hold on a minute, still looks like it could be good fun.

I found my copy yesterday while cleaning up for Christmas, and I'm rereading it now.

('Course, mine is called "The Golden Compass" because great controversial fantasy novels have to have different names in my country for some reason...)

Anyways, I'm still surprised at how little negative press it's getting. There's an over-forwarded email going around, the guy who is the Catholic League made a press release, and that's about it, really.
