At 3:47 on a Tuesday morning, the majority of civilized Britain was asleep.  It was a chilly morning and sensible people were nestled in a warm bed, preferably with a warm body curled up beside them.

Narcissa Malfoy was certainly a sensible woman, but she was definitely not in the majority of civilized Britain.

Oh, my! I have to echo xochiquetzl and say that I'm very curious to hear what happened next! I appreciated the arrogance of both the characters, particularly Narcissa. Who else would think to cheat death that way? Maggie

Found this on DH predictions, and I really liked it. your Narcissa felt so right:
The Black family women knew no master-not pain, not men, not time. They had conquered those and she would conquer this.
as did the description of her as a grey emissary, fighting for tranquillity.

I'd love to see the sequel, what when wrong, and can they fix it?
