I liked the set-up for this. As someone from Western NY who refuses to get air conditioning because it is ridiculous when we only have a handful of days over 90 degrees, I can see the logic in the reasoning. :)

I liked the imagery throughout the middle too.

My favorite part, however, was the last line. It worked well for the story and summed up their relationship perfectly as well.

I'm from Connecticut, we understand each other completely haha. But my family (read: mother) always has kept the house absolutely frigid in the summertime, though I do have a friend who has no AC at all, and I don't know how she SURVIVES haha. I go to school in North Carolina, so I'm definitely grateful to be home and not there, but it does get hot up north, no matter what people think!

And I liked the last line too because there is a not-inconsiderable amount of stolen glances at each other onscreen. They're not always romantic in nature, I just think it's two people who may or may not be socially maladjusted becoming comfortable around each other, and I think it's a big part of their relationship. Just being comfortable enough around each other that their guard is not always up, meaning they miss little glances and mis-actions like my drabble. :D
